We all say People are the most important capital in an Organization. Yes. We all like to agree and state that. But, truly, are most companies and HR managers really focused in managing persons? Or are we all still managing groups of persons? Honestly I can’t tell if it is going to take 1 or 5 years. But I’m pretty sure it is unavoidable. In the competitive markets, People will manage themselves. Not companies. That been said, these professionals will choose the company able to provide the conditions that they – individually – aspire. If they won’t find this Employer, they will easily employ themselves and. And the relation with companies will be contracted, on a project / task basis. Estamos na Revolução Tecnológica. Parece evidente e indesmentível. Se na Revolução Industrial foi o boom e a predominância do Operário, nesta revolução temos o boom do profissional Tecnológico. Chame-se-lhe programador, consultor, analista, o outro que se quiser. Mas as diferenças são abissais. Na Revolução Industrial a captação de recursos – operários – foi relativamente fácil. Havia muita gente disponível, as competências exigidas eram diminutas, e foi fácil transitar pessoas do sector primário para o secundário. Isto fez com que o seu valor fosse reduzido e o trabalho quase escravizante. Mas nesta Revolução Tecnológica, as coisas são bem diferentes.
